Kota Tua, Jakarta is an area of Dutch colonization inheritance which was well-known as Batavia in the 17th century. At Kota Tua area you can see old buildings with architecture style influenced by the Dutch or European architecture style, Chinese and even some of them with combination of Dutch and Chinese architecture. Some of the old buildings at Kota Tua area occupied as museums by the governor of DKI Jakarta. Kota Tua is one of a very interesting place or area to visit when you travel to Jakarta since it’s a center of historical tourism object in Jakarta.

can u read it?? "Kerak telor" :3
I guess you do not know
let me explain it XD
It looks like scrambled egg but the taste is very much different. Kerak Telor is a snack mainly made of glutinous rice and duck egg. It is served with dried shrimp topping and shredded coconut.
Kerak Telor the texture is crispy on its edge but soft in the middle,One interesting fact, the traditional vendors still cook the omelet using charcoal. This method of cooking only made the taste richer and more delicious, this is Traditional Batavian Omelet owww i <3 it XD

i saw a show too , u can see at the picture, the man put fire into his mouth :O

this is "Onthel" -> rough translation will be Old Bike. On Fatahilah Square you will find many of this kind of bikes, rented for IDR 20.000 per hour, and you might find it a good idea for having Kota Tua Jakarta (Jakarta Old City) tour on old bike , try it!! XD
